Principal Message
I extend my heartiest welcome to all the viewers to our college website www.gcsargaon.in The day I assumed office as head of the institution, my sustained endeavor has been to focus on student centric facilities. Govt. College Sargaon was established only five years ago in 2010 with only 17 students, but consistent commendable results and excellent performance of the students has enabled the college to attract a growing number of students especially from the socially and economically weaker sections of the society.

All great ideas begin with a commitment to shape the future of the nation. A student must have a quest for excellence in the field of education Govt. College Sargaon is making rapid progress in providing better resources required to impart the best all-round quality education laced with morality.The kind of education we impart to a student at Govt. College Sargaon lays the foundation of life and shapes its destiny. 

We intend to provide such education which would enable the students to keep pace with the times and make them realize their full potential to face whatever challenges come in their life. Our mission is to provide such education that supports and promotes employment generation but not at the cost of our value system. Our emphasis is on access, equity, excellence and relevance. Our endeavor is to provide fair opportunities to the deserving and ambitious students. Our efforts would be to provide fair opportunities to all the students from weaker sections of the society to acquire special and useful knowledge. 

Rapport between teachers and the taught creates a harmonious and efficient environment in the premises. Each of my staff members has given the students the chance to work, to dream and to achieve their goals. 

We strongly feel that this institution would play a major role in shaping the the destiny of the young generation. It is also kept in mind that they do not fall prey to the prevailing vices which create unrest among them. Our aim is to turnout Intelligent, talented, smart, competent and confident citizens of our country who will go out into the world and make us feel proud. There is always a hope for improvement which I expect from all well-wishers and together we can truly make a great difference.

Saint Shiromani Guru Ravidas Govt. College Sargaon, affiliated to Bilaspur University, was established in August 2010 with only 17 students in a very small and old Nagar Panchayat Building. It has now shifted to its own premises and has a spacious well ventilated beautiful building surrounded by lush greenery.
